This item is a USB dongle that can be used to activate an HMI/SCADA development and/or runtime license on a Windows computer or a SoftPLC HMI. Hard key licensing makes it easy to use multiple computers and/or to restore the license in the event of a hard disk failure.

SCADA/HMI Development or Development/Runtime licenses are shipped with a hard key by default. Runtime licenses are shipped with a soft key by default. When ordering a Hardkey to convert an existing license, specify the Registration or License Number of your existing product in the order notes.
