Tealware Expansion I/O Base Features:
The IOBASE08 is a Tealware Expansion I/O Base with 8 module slots and 1 power supply slot.
Any mix of up to 8 Tealware I/O modules mount into this backplane. I/O Bases connect to a Smart SoftPLC or Smart Adapter equipped with a LocalPorts interface via an Expansion I/O Cable. Up to (3) I/O Bases can be daisy chained from a single connector on the Smart LocalPorts interface, using the Expansion I/O Cables.
About Tealware I/O
Tealware modules mount into a backplane. Configuration options include high speed local I/O or ModbusTCP Ethernet I/O configurations:
- Up to (3) modules can be mounted directly to a Smart SoftPLC or Smart Adapter equipped with a Backplane-3 interface
- An I/O Base (IOBASE08) can hold any mix of up to (8) modules plus a Tealware Power Supply Module (PWS11 or PWS20C), and connect via an Expansion I/O Cable to a Smart SoftPLC or Smart Adapter equipped with a Local Ports interface
Common features to all Tealware modules make your control system robust, and simplify installation and maintenance:
- Detachable front-end terminal block/cable for easy module replacement without re-wiring
- Front Panel LED display for status monitoring/troubleshooting
- High noise immunity
- Automatic Configuration – Module addressing based on location (not DIP switch) for easy system configuration & maintenance (manual configuration option also available)
